Past

There was a time, most probably a few decades ago, job seekers' only choice was to either “know somebody” who would refer them to a job opening or go through the classified pages for job vacancies in the newspapers. Time goes by Globalization, industrialization, and digitalization have brought the whole world closer and but an organizational requirement for human resources for their operations will remain the same.

Present

But approaches by job seekers and strategies by job recruiters for recruitment rapidly changed (Green, et al., 2011).

Job Recruitment

Refers to the overall process of identifying recruitment needs of the organization, attracting, interviewing, shortlisting, selecting, hiring, and onboarding employees by the human resource management of an organization or public, private employment organization. (managementstudyhq, 2021).

Importance

By fulfilling new recruitment, human resource management will ensure uninterrupted production and services of its customers and its operations from those who leave the organization for various reasons. Other hand a prospective employee who wishes to be onboard will process more skill and knowledge than those who leave the organization which will benefit.

 Identify

After identifying comprehensive job specifications for the vacant position, outlining its major and minor responsibili­ties; the skills, experience, and academic qualifications, and salary scale management will attract job candidates from internal sources and external sources to the organization (shrm, 2021).

What is meant by E-Recruitment?

E-recruitment also known as online recruitment refers to the use of totally web-based technologies like internet platforms and web-based resources for each stage of the recruitment process (talentlyft, 2021).

According to Mohammed (2019), the recruiter will notify the public by mentioning the available vacancies on,

 1. Organization Web Site

2. Internet Advertisement Campaigns

3. Professional Social Media Sites

4. By Text Massages

5. Job Databases

6. Career Portals

7. Social Networking Sites

Evaluation procedure of the resume will be underway and the human resource department will alert when an applicant's resume meets their expectations. Most of the time they will reply,

 1. By E-mail

2. By Using Social Flatforms

3. By Text Massages

 Most of the time by online interviews and online assessments and tests will shortlist the candidates and upon reaching an agreement with the right candidate and organization will hire them.

The e-recruiting process will benefit both employer and the as well candidate.
